Which battery is compatible with our feeders?
To ensure optimal performance, we recommend using a rechargeable 12 Volt battery with a minimum of 4.5 Amp hours (Ah) for your FeedCon®. Our own feeders use a 75 Ah marine/leisure battery. The size of the battery will vary depending on the model of your feeder.
For the NG CF 125 liter feeder, the battery should be no larger than 35 x 19.5 x 22 cm (WxDxH).
For the NG CF 250 liter feeder, the battery should be no larger than 41 x 19 x 22 cm (WxDxH).
And for the NG CF 500/1000 liter feeder, the battery should be no larger than 27 x 28 x 25 cm (WxDxH).
